What are your check-in and out times?Our dorm style cabins and meeting spaces have a check-in time of 3 pm with a check-out time of 2 pm. Our motel and condo-style lodging have a check-in time of 4 pm. These facilities have a check-out time of 12 pm to allow us to prepare for the next arrival. Alternative check-in and out times can sometimes be arranged in advance.

What is Riverbend's pet and service animal policy?To ensure a safe and distraction-free environment for every guest on camp, Riverbend has a "No Pets" policy. ADA trained Service Dogs are welcomed if the following conditions are met. The dog must stay in the company of the person with the disability and be leashed at all times. The dog cannot damage any property. The guest is responsible for any damage or additional cleaning incurred by the dog. The dog cannot interact with any other Riverbend guests (not with your group). The dog cannot cause a disturbance such as excessive barking. Please contact us before your arrival if you have any questions.

Does Riverbend have any restrictions on what can be brought to camp?"Riverbend does not allow alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms to be permitted on Riverbend Retreat Center premises. There is no smoking inside any of the facilities.

What is your cancellation policy?Events canceled over 90 days out will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 45-90 days out can apply half the deposit to rebook another event. If a future retreat is not booked, the deposit will be lost. Cancellations less than 45 days forfeit the deposit, but we would love to see you in the future! Facilities dropped within 90 days will be assessed a fee of half the room/lodge rate charged for unused rooms/lodges. Cabins that are dropped, or not needed, will be assessed a fee of $150 for up to 40 beds and $300 for 80-88 bed cabins.

How many sponsors does Riverbend require for your retreat?Riverbend requires there shall be a minimum of one leader for every 10 students under the age of 18.

What are your meal times and what kind of food do you serve?Our scheduled meals times are 8:00-8:45 am for breakfast, 12:00-12:45 pm for lunch; 7:00-7:45 pm for Friday dinner, 5:00-5:45 pm for dinners served Saturday-Thursday. Every meal is served with a main course, side options, drinks (sodas, juice, water, etc.) and a fruit or salad bar. At lunch, soup is added to the salad bar, and dinners come with a dessert. We can accommodate allergy and specific needs if you let us know. Fill out this form two weeks before your event for any special requests.

What type of groups can come to Riverbend?Riverbend Retreat Center (“RRC”) desires that our facilities be used for the Glory of God and to further RRC’s mission: To provide a place of refuge where people experience Christ. Only groups whose purposes, beliefs, and teachings align with RRC's will be permitted to use RRC's facilities. RRC has the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether a group’s purposes, beliefs, or conduct are inconsistent with RRC’s Statement of Faith. Riverbend is a Christian Evangelical Camp and Retreat Center whose primary mission is to support Christian churches. We require that a new group provide a statement of faith prior to booking with us.
